Global Light Charismatic Chapel (“GLCC”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through globallightchapel.org, why we collect it, and how we protect it, in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

Information we collect
- Prayer requests: your name, the type of request, the details you choose to share and, optionally, your phone number for follow-up.
- Donations and giving: your name, phone number, email address, the amount and purpose of your gift, and your chosen payment method. Card and mobile money details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored on our website.
- Contact and sign-up forms: your name, email address, phone number and message.
- Event registrations: the details you provide when signing up for a church event or programme.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the site secure and working properly.
How we use your information
- To pray for you and, where you have asked, to follow up with you.
- To process donations, send receipts and keep accurate financial records.
- To respond to your enquiries and keep you informed about services and events you have signed up for.
- To protect the website against spam, fraud and abuse.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Prayer requests are treated as confidential and are shared only with the church’s pastoral and prayer team.
Cookies
Our website uses small files called cookies to remember your preferences, keep forms working and speed up page loading. If we enable website analytics, it is used only to understand how visitors use the site in general. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may then not work correctly.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages include videos, maps or posts from services such as YouTube, Facebook and Google Maps. These services may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with that content in the same way as if you had visited their websites directly. Their own privacy policies apply.
Who we share your information with
We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the website and process donations (for example our web host, email delivery service and payment processors), and only as much as they need to provide that service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep your information
We keep form submissions and prayer requests only for as long as they are needed for the purpose you gave them. Donation records are kept for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.
How we protect your information
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to submitted information is limited to authorised church staff, and the site is kept updated and protected against unauthorised access.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You may also withdraw your consent to being contacted. To make a request, email admin@globallightchapel.org. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
Children
Our online forms are intended for adults. Information about children, for example for children’s ministry programmes, should be provided by a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated.
