ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Rev. Stephen Owusu Badu is a devoted minister and a servant of the Most High who exhibits love, care and compassion for the Lord’s sheep. He shepherds and feeds the flock with the undiluted word of God and nurtures them into the nature of God. He is the founder and leader of Global Jesus Outreach (GJO) and Global Light Charismatic Chapel (GLCC). Rev. Steve has a God-ordained mandate to impact the world with unbending truths of the word of God, and the power of God. He is an author of many books which are nothing short of revelations of deep mysteries in the word of God. He delights in spending time with the youth and teaching them the mysteries of God and it’s his desire to raise a generation of Christians who will not love the world but love the Lord unconditionally. He is married to Lady Rev Dorothy Owusu Badu, who has been a great backbone and a co-founder of the commission.
Our Story
Global Light Charismatic Chapel (GLCC) is a vibrant Pentecostal–Charismatic movement devoted to the power, presence, and manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Rooted in the freedom we have in Christ, our mission is to bring the light of the gospel to the world and awaken the sight of all people to see and know the Lord Jesus. Founded by Pastor Stephen Owusu Badu, GLCC began its journey in Obuasi, where our headquarters is located. The church was birthed out of Global Jesus Outreach (GJO) and now serves as the overarching spiritual covering for the ministry’s global assignment. From our humble beginnings to our growing impact, GLCC continues to stand as a beacon of hope, transformation, and divine illumination—touching lives, raising disciples, and spreading the light of Christ across the nations.
